Our two new events this month set a great course forward together. Our kick-off Quarterly Member Meeting was a success! Chamber members inquired about when our member meeting would be... such a thing has never been held before and we thought it was definitely time to make it a thing!
March 7th we hosted an open business forum for our members that was also open to all business owners and prospective business owners/entrepreneurs. Our new Chamber President Julie Kincheloe was introduced and we were honored to have our new City Manager Brant Mesker with us. Both facilitated a Q&A and time of discussion. There were 36 in attendance, many from the City Council, business owners, and more. We are looking foward to our next Quarterly Member Meeting which will be Thursday, June 6th. We are working on putting together a small resource fair for this time together.
Our Lunch & Learn on the 21st was a great time to get to know our ChamberMaster program that is available to all members. James Turnes gave great and practical information on setting your information up and promoting through this valuable resource. Many times the Chamber website and it's listings is a starting point for those inquiring about our community and the businesses that are active here. We will soon have some great short training videos available if you weren't able to make it out. Our next Lunch & Learn will be Thursday June 20th from 12-1pm and will be covering content creation, best social media practices, and online business!

Our Tourism Summit will begin at 1pm with lunch, followed by our engaging speakers, and a private evening networking event at Turtle Bay Museum with animal ambassadors, food, and drinks.
